UMP SUMMERNATIONALS NEXT FOR #99 TEAM!
JUNE 13, 2006 --- Following his fourth place performance last Friday night, June 9 at the Kankakee Motor Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois, the Heckenast Race Team and young driver Frank Heckenast, Jr. are gearing up for the grueling UMP Summernationals circuit. The month-long series will kick off on June 15 at the Twin Cities (IN) Raceway Park and will conclude on July 15 at the Oakshade (OH) Raceway. HECKENAST, JR. LOGS PAIR OF TOP FIVE EFFORTS!
JUNE 4, 2006 --- The Heckenast Race Team and young driver Frank Heckenast, Jr. posted two impressive Top Five finishes over the recent weekend. On Friday, June 2 at the Kankakee Motor Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois, Frankie finished fourth in the $1,200 to win A-Main after running second in his heat and third in the dash. It was then off to the Kamp Motor Speedway in Boswell, Indiana on Saturday for another regular show. Frank, Jr. timed in fourth fastest in qualifying and won his heat race before finishing fifth in the final rundown of the A-Main. The Orland Park, Illinois native's weekend did not finish with the same result, as he failed to make the starting field for the $10,000 to win UMP 'Tri-Track Challenge' show at the Vermilion County Speedway in Danville, Illinois on Sunday.

FRANK, JR. FOURTEENTH IN $24,999 '99' AT KLMS!
MAY 31, 2006 --- Frank Heckenast, Jr. and the Heckenast Race Team had an ultra-busy Memorial Day holiday weekend, as they competed in four Dirt Late Model events in as many days. On Friday, May 26, Frankie finished seventh in the regular show at the Kankakee (IL) Motor Speedway. The following night took the #99jr team to the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri for another regular show. Frankie finished thirteenth in that event after running third in his heat race.
Sunday, May 28 took the Orland Park, Illinois native to the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois for the 'Fed-Ex 50.' Frank, Jr. failed to make the starting field for the $10,000 to win event after finishing sixth in his heat race and fifth in the B-Main. The busy weekend concluded on Monday with the rain-postponed running of the '99' at the Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, Kentucky. Frankie wound up finishing fourteenth in the $24,999 to win mega-event after starting twenty-sixth on the grid.

FRANK, JR. THIRD IN KANKAKEE OPENER!
MAY 21, 2006 --- Frank Heckenast, Jr. posted a solid third place finish in the season opener at the Kankakee Motor Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois last Friday evening, May 19. Frankie advanced to the A-Main by virtue of an impressive second place finish in his heat race. The following night took the Heckenast Racing team to the LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois for a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series show. However, Frankie failed to make the starting grid for the 50-lap A-Man after finishing seventh in his heat race and eighth in his consolation event.

DESPITE THE RAIN, THE #99 TEAM LOGS THREE TOP TEN FINISHES!
MAY 14, 2006 --- The Heckenast Racing team and Frank Heckenast, Jr. had a busy racing week in store last week, but persistent rain showers across the Midwest had the team scurrying to find venues that were able to race. On Tuesday, May 9, Frank, Jr. ran a solid ninth at the ultra-small Thunder Valley Raceway in Salem, Indiana. It was the only Northern Allstars Late Model Series "Indiana Speedweeks" event that was able to be completed, as the other four were wiped out because of rain.
The Orland Park, Illinois based Dirt Late Model team then jetted south to the Commonwealth State of Kentucky to compete over the weekend. Frankie ran a strong fifth at the Paducah International Raceway on Friday, May 12, while finishing eighth at the Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway the following evening.
